How to Watch VR Porn on Your Phone (Android & iPhone)
Updated 7 October 2026
A phone is the cheapest way to try VR porn, but it's very much a taster: the screen is split in two, so each eye gets half your phone's resolution, and cheap viewers have blurry lenses.
Quick answer
On Android, open Chrome, play a VR video and tap the VR button with your phone in a Cardboard-style viewer. iPhone Safari doesn't support WebXR, so on iPhone you can only pan around the video ('magic window'). For real immersion, even a $349 Quest 3S is far better.
Android with a VR viewer
- 1Get a Cardboard-compatible viewer. Google stopped selling Cardboard in 2021, but third-party viewers are still cheap.
- 2Open Chrome (Incognito for privacy) and go to vrpornex.com.
- 3Play a video and tap the VR button; Chrome on Android supports WebXR.
- 4Put the phone in the viewer with the divider centred.
iPhone and 'magic window' mode
Safari on iPhone doesn't support WebXR VR mode, so you can't split the screen for a viewer in the browser. You can still play 180° videos in 'magic window' mode: move the phone, or drag with your finger, to look around the scene.
Best formats for phones
- Choose 4K–5K files: phones struggle to decode 8K VR video.
- Stream over Wi-Fi rather than mobile data; VR video uses a lot of it.
- App stores ban porn apps, so mobile players are generic and play your own files.

FAQ
Can I watch VR porn without a headset?
Yes, in magic-window mode: the video plays on your phone or computer and you drag or move the phone to look around. There's no 3D depth, though.
Does Google Cardboard still work?
Google stopped selling it in 2021, but its SDK is open source and third-party Cardboard viewers still work with Android Chrome's WebXR.
What's the cheapest proper VR headset for porn?
Meta Quest 3S at $349.99. It's a huge step up from any phone viewer.
