How to Watch VR Porn on Samsung Galaxy XR (Android XR)

Updated 7 October 2026

Samsung's Galaxy XR ($1,799.99) runs Google's Android XR and has a pair of 3552×3840 micro-OLED displays, the sharpest you can buy outside Apple. That makes it a superb VR porn headset, and Android XR is more open than Meta's or Apple's platforms.

Quick answer

Open Chrome on Galaxy XR, play a video on a VR porn site and tap the VR button; Chrome supports WebXR. Downloaded 180° files play in the built-in Gallery app's immersive view, and you can install Android player APKs straight from Chrome.

Stream in Chrome

Chrome on Android XR supports the WebXR Device API, including the AR module, hand input and depth sensing, so VR video players on websites work as they do on Quest.

1Open Chrome and switch to an Incognito tab.
2Go to vrpornex.com and open a video.
3Press play, then tap the VR button and allow immersive mode.
4Use hand gestures (the default) or a controller to pause and seek.

Play downloaded files in Gallery

The built-in Samsung Gallery app has an immersive view that switches between 2D, 180°, 360°, 3D side-by-side and 3D top-bottom. Download a scene in Chrome or copy it over USB, open it in Gallery and choose 180° 3D side-by-side.

Install a VR video player

Google Play bans sexual-content apps, and dedicated VR porn players aren't listed for Android XR yet (DeoVR lists Galaxy XR support as 'coming soon'; SexLikeReal says it supports the headset through the browser). Android XR does make sideloading easy, though:

1Download the player's Android APK in Chrome.
2When prompted, allow Chrome to install unknown apps (Settings > Security and privacy).
3Open the downloaded file to install it. No developer mode or PC is needed.

Best settings and formats

8K 180° side-by-side in H.265 or AV1 suits the XR2+ Gen 2 chip and the high-resolution screens.
Use 5 GHz or Wi-Fi 6 for streaming 8K.
The headset has colour passthrough, but player support for passthrough videos on Android XR is still patchy.
